Broncos 44 Sea Eagles 10

The Broncos handed the Sea Eagles their biggest defeat in a wee while, in what was the weakest attempt of defence I have seen in a long while. Manly are done. They’ve got nothing left. I can’t see them producing anything over the next 13 round that will say they’re going to get any better. The Broncos made light work of Manly, and so they should have.

Titans 27 Tigers 20

The Titans in control of this game for all but fifteen minutes, which in that time the Tigers took a 20-19 lead. The Titans remained calm, never panicked, stuck to what works for them and took the life out of the Leichhardt crowd as they left the Tigers winless through their last four and winning only one of their last seven.

Raiders 44 Knights 22

It was the Blake Austin show once again for the Raiders, who is proving to be the best signing this season without a doubt. He orchestrated plenty of fantastic backline moves, and scored a double on the way. The Knights were out on their feet early, and never recovered. The Raiders are dominating sides away from home.

Rabbitohs 38 Warriors 4

It was one way traffic for this one. A couple of soft refereeing decisions alongside plenty of soft defence saw the Warriors stand no chance in Perth against South Sydney. The Rabbitohs fast style of footy was the winner on the day; the Warriors were sloppy and stood no match

Storm 20 Panthers 0

A tough one for Panthers fans to stomach. The Storm were led by Blake Green who stood up strong for the Melbourne side. He bagged himself a double as the Panthers went down once again. Winning looks a long way away for the Panthers, and for Melbourne it is coming when the forwards get their job done.

Sharks 10 Roosters 4

The Sharks scored ten unanswered points in the second half to get their second win this season over the Roosters.  The second half was mainly played with the Roosters defending their line – and that is what took it out of them. Too much defence. In the words of Gus Gould “Bermuda triangle” as the Sharks get an important scalp

Bulldogs 29 Dragons 16

It was a last 20 blitz by the Bulldogs that stole the match for them.  The last quarter is when the Dragons defence usually stands up, but not in this one.  They were inspired by Moses Mybe and a small cameo of Josh Reynolds and that was enough to run over the Red V.

Cowboys 36 Eels 30

If you went to bed after the first 50 minutes of this game, then I feel sorry for you.  After leading by 24 points, Parramatta BLEW IT! HOW!? HOW DID THEY BLOW A 24 POINT LEAD?

Well, they blew it with ease.  They were reckless with ball in hand, disgraceful on defence and got blown over with ease by a Gavin Cooper hat-trick and the Cowboys rolled to 10 in a row.
