NRL Round 14 Preview
0By Stephen Gallagher
FRIDAY: • Wests Tigers v South Sydney Rabbitohs – ANZ Stadium 21.45NZT
The Tigers are the young guns who need to start getting some wins on the board – or else their season will well and truly be over. Souths could slip up on this, as they are without their Origin stars. Their depth will be tested.
Prediction: Tigers 1-12
SATURDAY: • New Zealand Warriors V Sydney Roosters – Mount Smart Stadium 20.00NZT
The Warriors have the highest error count in the competition – the Roosters are just below them in second place. So I guess this game goes down to whoever holds on to the ball the longest will win. The Warriors being at home will be good, and an understrength Roosters will try get back to Aussie with the two points.
Prediction: Warriors 13+
SUNDAY: • Gold Coast Titans V Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs – CBUS Super Stadium 18.00NZT
The Titans took the win against the Bulldogs last time they met at CBUS. They might just spring another ambush on the Doggies. Canterbury work hard up front, but the Titans might just be able to get the job done if they get a strong enough start,
Prediction: Titans 1-12
MONDAY: • Melbourne Storm V Parramatta Eels – AAMI Park 21.00NZT
This is a tough one – Melbourne without their stars, and Parramatta wanting to right their oh so wrong blunder from last Monday where they coughed up a hearty 24 point lead. The Storm have plenty of talented players to step up for their Origin troops who won’t be playing. The Storm at home will get it done.
Prediction: Storm 13+
