NRL Round 19 Preview

FRIDAY: • Parramatta Eels v Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs – ANZ Stadium 21.45NZT
The Eels want to go four straight, and the Bulldogs want to get back in to the winners circle. This game is going to offer a lot more than most people think. The Eels have been really strong lately, and I back them to win this game. The Bulldogs will be vicious, but the slippery Eels will find a way to win.
Eels 1-12
• Melbourne Storm V Penrith Panthers – AAMI Park 21.45NZT
Melbourne and Penrith are not having desirable seasons, so who wins this might just hold their heads up enough in the top eight. The Panthers don’t travel very well to Victoria. The Storm will have to be sharper on attack than they were last week.
Storm 1-12
SATURDAY: • Canberra Raiders V Cronulla Sharks – GIO Stadium 17.00NZT
The Raiders have a tough battle on their hands. Two sides very similar in structure and work ethic going head to head. The Raiders will have to front up early, much like their efforts last week. Cronulla are going to put up a fight.
Raiders 1-12
• Newcastle Knights V Gold Coast Titans – Hunter Stadium 19.30NZT
Two under performing sides who are having terrible seasons going head to head in a game that’ll be terrible more than likely. The Knights are going to have to give something back to their fans at home, they need a win. The Titans have a big more guts up front.
Titans 1-12
• Saint George Illawarra Dragons V South Sydney Rabbitohs – Sydney Cricket Ground 21.30NZT
The Sydney Cricket Ground will be the venue when these two crack in to it. The Dragons have been awful the last month and the Rabbitohs have been pretty iffy themselves. Hopefully both sides rise to the occasion as these sides with plenty of history fight on this historical ground.
Rabbitohs 1-12
SUNDAY: • Sydney Roosters V New Zealand Warriors – Allianz Stadium 16.00NZT
The Roosters and Warriors are 3 and 4 respectively on the table. This clash is mouth-watering. The Roosters broke the Warriors hearts last time, and the Warriors will want some revenge in what is Shaun Johnson’s 100th game. This will be the game of the round no doubt about it.
Warriors 1-12
• Brisbane Broncos V Wests Tigers – Suncorp Stadium 18.00NZT
Brisbane are so hot right now, that’ll it’ll take a mammoth effort from the Tigers to win it…. But can they? The Tigers need to start putting some performances together, for some credibility as they sit dead last on the table…. One sided? I tip a miracle.
Tigers 1-12
MONDAY: • Manly Warringah Sea Eagles V North Queensland Cowboys – Brookvale Oval 21.00NZT
The Sea Eagles will cause some problems for the high spirited Cowboys. They put on a clinic last week, and will continue to build and beat teams. The Cowboys after a week off might be a little sloppy, but I doubt it. The Sea Eagles will be ready for this huge game.
Sea Eagles 1-12
