Wishing the All Blacks well; 2015 style

Whatever happens at Twickenham overnight the All Blacks can rest assured they have a lot of support behind them.  In a very 2015 way they have received a lot of support from some likely, and not so likely places.

The squad for this World Cup was announced a few months ago at the Beehive.  Fast forward a few months and the New Zealand cricket team got together at the Australian Parliament to send the “WE BELONG’ message.  With not a politician in sight.  Dream Big.

But wait; there’s more.  A trio of belonging.

People with even the most tenuous connection to Otago Boys’ High School will cringe a bit at this effort.

That a school that has produced Sir Jack Marshall, Sir Keith Park and Colin McCahon, amongst others should put on a stunt that ignores the custom that you have a space between words is a bit of a worry.

At least Dan Carter seems pretty relaxed, mixing it with the locals, and keeping in touch with his 465,000 Twitter followers.

The cult of David Hasselhoff is simply impossible to understand on all levels.  Anyway, here he is showing his support.

Meanwhile there is a theory going around that there is probably an overkill when it comes to the New Zealand media presence in England.  Especially in terms of people who know about as much about rugby as the Hoff.
