South Sydney are the Titanic, and their season is an iceburg.

The hopes and dreams off all their members and fans are almost dead in the water.

The Eels outclassed Souths in every aspect on Friday night. Not even the late inclusion of the over-rated John Sutton could help them.

Parramatta are a quality side. It’s a shame they rorted the cap!

Dragons 20 Storm 10

Losing to the worst attacking team in the competition must hurt.

Despite their Origin stars missing, I though Melbourne will still be okay, but they just couldn’t hold out.

Forced to make a helluva lot more tackles due to ill-discipline, the Storm spent all their energy defending their own line.

The Dragons won ugly, but they won.

Also, the Storm need a back up goal kicker. The hairy Tohu Harris was lucky he kicked one from in front!

Warriors 12 Roosters 10

The amount of times the ball hit the deck, I thought this was basketball.

This game was strange. The Roosters are used to having the penalty count not go their way – but at one stage the Warriors had the count 10-3!

A sin-binning, three penalty goals and a lack of direction would sum this game up.

The Warriors won ugly. Uncharacteristic, but they kicked their way to their third win in a row.

Trailing 4-2 at half time, and having lost their last 12 when down at HT – it looked this scrappy affair was going to be a Roosters win.

Credit to the Sydney defence, they were stellar – but a Shaun Johnson try and the perfect percentage from the boot was the difference.

Titans 30 Sea Eagles 10

The Titans hardly needed to get out of third gear to post 30 points over the Sea Eagles.

Manly were their own worst enemy. Dropped balls and wide open defence were about the only thing they offered all game.

The Titans were sharp on attack, and their backline moves were slick. An easy win for them.
