Iceland 2 England 1. On Twitter
0What a match. The Iceland fairy tale rumbles on; this time erupting on England’s hopes of a rare successful tournament, and bringing to an end the managerial reign of Roy Hodgson.

Twitter this morning was pretty evenly split into three camps:
1. Genuine rejoicing at the Icelandic story; how small they are, how there is hardly anyone left at home, and their fantastic surnamessuns.
2. England schadenfreude. It happens every two years, but there was something special today; partly because of Category 1, but also ….
3. 94 tweets a second about Brexit, and how they have left Europe twice in a week.

This tweet, and response, managed to incorporate Categories 2 and 3 very well.
Category 1. Some of the facts here may or may not be 100% accurate, but you get the picture.
But the highlight, and the best example of Category 1, was this. Turn up the sound and enjoy
