How ‘bout those Chiefs ?
0Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Kansas City Chiefs Monday 7am NZ time

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently the NFL’s most least talked about winning teams. In their last 19 games across the last two seasons they have a 17-2 regular season record.
Last week they rallied from a 17-0 deficit to win on the road at last year’s Superbowl contenders, the Carolina Panthers, to win 20-17 – an amazing comeback in the grand scheme.
Coach Andy Reid has a team that is big on character especially in defence – their offence though could only be described as adequate. Turnovers win games and the Chiefs are masters at it on both sides of the football. Big defensive plays to get the ball back and not letting go of the ball themselves means they are for real with their current winning streak.
This week the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to Arrowhead Stadium. A team in progress led by second season quarterback Jameis Winston they are still too inconsistent to be a factor come season end. Like a number of teams they are down to bare bones in the Running Back department meaning Winston has to do a lot more himself, which lead to mistakes.
The Buccaneers surprisingly fired Head Coach Lovie Smith at the end of last season and promoted offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter. In terms of progress questions are probably being asked has their been any under Koetter?
The Chiefs at home are traditionally tough at home and a nudge over a touchdown favourite getting a 7.5 point start. The odds of them winning are very high however whether then win by that margin could be a stretch. Unless Quarterback Alex Smith starts throwing the ball downfield more a running game cannot always be relied on. Tampa Bay’s Winston is a gunslinger and will take risks that may reward. Take a punt with Tampa Bay to get within that margin.
