The Louis Corbett Bucket list

Remember Louis Corbett?

In 2014 he gained worldwide attention when the then 12 year old drew up a bucket list of things he wanted to see before he went blind.  Suffering from a rare eye disease he took the positive route and planned to cram in as much as possible while he could see.

Things happened, and he got to see his beloved Boston Celtics.  A combination of donations from New Zealand and support from the Celtics themselves made that possible.

Yesterday Corbett, now 15, turned up in goal for Auckland football power house Sacred Heart College 2^nd XI.  And, despite his illness, pulled off this save.

It’s been a whirlwind few years for Corbett, and his eyesight continues to deteriorate.  But making a save like that would be beyond most people’s bucket lists.
