Welcome to the eighth edition of the ‘Swinehound’ sports quiz. There hasn’t been one for a good while, so there’s an increase from the regular 8 question set to a full XV this time. The joint defenders are: Andy Muir of Southland and Gerard, playing abroad from London (yes, we have gone international, lol).

As yet, no single participant from the seven previous editions has managed to defend their ‘hound crown. Three title defences will win you a very good conditioned copy of the old rugger journalist David Frost’s book, ‘Lions 83’.

Play fair with your answers. It’s called the Swinehound for a reason- a lot of the questions are bloody swines to get right. However Google is absolutely a banned substance- it’s the stanozolol of quizzing; just don’t go there.
