FRIDAY: Canberra Raiders V South Sydney Rabbitohs, 21.50NZT – GIO Stadium
There’s enough Poms between these two teams to make up the English league side!
The Raiders have their best chance in a long time to make a grand final, but they have to get over the hurdle that is South Sydney.
Souths fell in this corresponding game last year to the eventual premiers, so there’s added motivation for the boys from Redfern.
Canberra have the benefit of home soil, and a week off.
This game is going to be all fireworks, and will be a tight finish.

SATURDAY: Sydney Roosters V Melbourne Storm, 21.50NZT – Sydney Cricket Ground
A grand final replay. Melbourne will be desperate to reverse their fortunes of 2018, especially after emphatically dispatching Parramatta last week.
The Roosters win percentage dips quite considerably without Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, but they still have plenty of enforcement to replace him.
The Storm have never played at this venue before, which can help the Roosters get up again.
I really enjoyed the rivalry between these two over the last three years, and this one has a lot riding on it too.
