NRL Finals Week 2 Preview

FRIDAY: • Sydney Roosters V Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs – Allianz Stadium 22.05NZT
This is it for one of these historical Sydney clubs. The Minor Premiers took a bump last week, losing to Melbourne – how much will they learn from this loss?
The Bulldogs were lucky, to say the least, to get past a spirited Dragons side. This is going to be a really big battle.
I think the Roosters have them in the halves, and that’s where they will have the experience to control the game. Maloney has been in this position plenty of times, and young gun Jackson Hastings will show his worth and bring the Roosters through. It won’t be an easy win, but it will be a win that shows they are not to be written off after last week’s loss.
Roosters 1-12
SATURDAY: • North Queensland Cowboys V Cronulla Sharks – 1300 SMILES Stadium 21.50NZT
The Cowboys were simply outplayed last weekend, and if they play like that in this match – they will lose without a doubt. Cronulla are riding the high of defeating the reigning Premiers in a thrashing.
Surely the Cowboys win this one, right? I mean throughout the year they’ve been most consistent. Cronulla have to hit the ground running if they want to win. It won’t be easy to win in Townsville, but I genuinely think the boys from the Shire will get up. North Queensland’s season ends.
Sharks 1-12
