NRL Preliminary Finals Review

Broncos 31 Roosters 12
The fate of this game was sealed 55 seconds in, as Shaun Kenny-Dowall threw the worst pass in NRL Finals history to Darius Boyd who scored under the sticks.
Two more freakish tries in the next fifteen minutes rattled the Roosters even more – and the Minor Premiers were playing catch up football and could not catch up.
The 20-12 scoreline at half time looked close but it was always Brisbane’s game.
The Roosters panicked and that was it. The Broncos make the Grand Final for the first time since 2005.
Cowboys 32 Storm 12
An absolute second half materclass orchestrated by the one and only JT. The first half was fantastic. The pace was phenomenal and it was very competitive.
It seemed like the Cowboys, despite conceding the first points were always going to get up and win. They were deserved victors in this one, making the Grand Final for the first time since their loss in 2005.
