Rabbitohs 14 Eels 12
So this was about as average as you can think of. Both teams desperate to play their worst. However the Eels out-shit the Rabbitohs and lost. The Rabbitohs were far from impressive, but at the end of the day – it still says they won, and the Eels lost.
Cowboys 8-0
The only thing more disappointing about this result was that I was hoping it was going to remain 2-0. However the Tigers defence let up and the Cowboys snuck through. After Friday night’s game – seeing this was about as fun as poking yourself in the eye with a sharp stick. Good on the Cowboys though, man they know how to win!
FINALLY! A GAME WORTH WATCHING! The Bulldogs went hard, fell away, went hard, fell away – and when the Raiders tied it all up, a little Grubby bugger used his foot for something other than tripping people with, and slotted a field goal that was more dodgy than the curry I ate while watching this match. Raiders went for a short kick off with barely any time remaining – and Moses Mbye took it and ran away with it for the Bulldogs to add to the Raiders heartache.
Broncos 31 Knights 18
Having six players out for Origin was not a problem for Brisbane, as their second half blitz was enough to get over the Knights who continue to fall from grace. The Broncos and their North Queensland counterparts sit a-top of the table together.
