NRL Review. Round 19
0By Stephen Gallagher
Bulldogs 28 Eels 4
The Eels have the worst halves combination in the comp, they were competitive in the first half, but the Bulldogs ran all over them in the second half. It wasn’t the Bulldogs best performance of the year, but it always seemed they were going to get the win. Parramatta put up very little fight.
Storm 52 Panthers 10
#Cam300 was more than enough motivation as the Storm ripped apart the Panthers with utter ease. After a bad loss the following week, it was crucial the Storm got a win. They were unstoppable. Everything they touched turned to gold and it was one was traffic from kickoff.
Sharks 21 Raiders 20
The Sharks were better than the Raiders all game, but it took a valiant Valentine Holmes field goal in Golden Point that got them the win. Referees boss Tony Archer however thinks it shouldn’t have got there, with the refs making a wrong crucial call. The Raiders showed plenty of heart. The Sharks finding some form.
Knights 30 Titans 2
The Titans are absolute shithouse. They put up absolutely no fight as the Knights put 30 on them easily. The Titans have lost 68-8 in the last two matches, that’s hardly good. The Knights are hardly in form either, they only beat the Titans.
Rabbitohs 24 Dragons 8
The Rabbitohs had the mental edge over the Dragons all match and they ground out a win which was comprehensive in the end. The Dragons have been terrible of late, the Rabbitohs still mixed.
Roosters 24 Warriors 0
The Roosters put up one of the best performances this season, as they kept the Warriors to nil for the first time in six years. The Roosters defence was pure muscle, their line speed was brilliant. The Warriors didn’t go down without a lack of trying.
Broncos 42 Tigers 16
And the Tigers are at the bottom of the table for this very reason. An absolute weaksauce club that are struggling big time. The Broncos barely got out of third gear, and the Tigers tried hard and failed miserably.
Cowboys 30 Sea Eagles 12
The Cowboys proving once again they’re a brilliant side, after they took aside the competitive Sea Eagles. DCE went down with injury, but the Sea Eagles still looked dangerous. The Cowboys were all class all game.
