NRL Round 13: The Preview
0Tipping last week was horrible. 4/8. Sort it out. 60/96
THURSDAY: Dragons V Broncos – Netstrata Jubilee Stadium – 21.50NZT
The Dragons have a few players back and a few players not picked for Origin which will help their chances as they remain in eighth position.
The Broncos have a couple of big ins too, so there’s plenty riding on this game.
Brisbane haven’t beaten the Dragons since 2018, so there’s a lot of pressure on them to get it done.
Red V are still the better of these two sides, and need to show that they’re worthy of their spot.
TIP: Dragons 1-12
FRIDAY: Tigers V Panthers – Leichhardt Oval – 21.55NZT
Wests win loss win loss record over the last month just shows they’re still as inconsistent as ever, and with a win last week….
Penrith face their biggest test this season without their six Origin stars, but still name a very strong squad that will want to continue that form in to this Western sydney battle.
Tigers backline has been great over the last month, and Brooks is playing more consistant than ever.
Panthers will rely on the likes of JFH, Kikau, and Leniu to muscle up and win the fight up front.
TIP: Panthers 1-12
SATURDAY: Storm V Titans – Sunshine Coast Stadium – 21.35NZT
It must be such an incredible sight for Storm fans who can name a brand new spine and still carve up every week.
They’ll sport a fairly familiar spine despite Origin against the Titans, but will still be more than good enough to win.
The Titans defensive issues are crippling their season every week, and it still haven’t got any better.
Trust the Storm to expose the Titans throughout the middle and make light work of this fixture.
TIP: Storms 13+
SUNDAY: Knights V Eels – McDonald Jones Stadium – 18.05NZT
The Knights won in this time slot last week too, and showed plenty of strengths in their upset win over Manly.
While the Eels are looking for a win after two straight losses, and it’ll be tough against Newcastle if they play anything like they did last Sunday.
The Eels side is relatively unchanged, which provides them with a little more spark than Newcastle who are looking a little deplated through origin, suspension and injury concerns.
Eels should sneak in here.
TIP: Eels 1-12
