NRL Round 17 Preview

FRIDAY: • Penrith Panthers V South Sydney Rabbitohs – Pepper Stadium 21.45NZT
Penrith got hot on Sunday, while the Rabbitohs scraped through on the skin of their teeth. This game should be interesting. The Panthers are desperate for a win, they need to continue to get wins, and this is a game they could pick up. The Rabbitohs won’t roll over, they will definitely be up to oppose anything Penrith do.
Panthers 13+
SATURDAY: • Saint George Illawarra Dragons V North Queensland Cowboys – WIN Stadium 21.30NZT
The Dragons need a win, they’ve battled in some losses over the last three weeks. The Cowboys without their origin stars, and after a loss will be a wounded side. The Dragons have this game to claim, but the Cowboys do have some solid depth to get up in an upset.
Dragons 1-12
SUNDAY: • Manly Warringah Sea Eagles V Cronulla Sharks – Brookvale Oval 18.00NZT
The Sea Eagles are going to win this one. That’s because they’re going to upset some sides. They’re better than what their bottom place tells – and they’ll definitely put on a good performance at Brookie. The Sharks won’t be able to keep up.
Sea Eagles 13+
MONDAY: • Wests Tigers V Parramatta Eels – ANZ Stadium 21.00NZT
I will be at this game! So I am going to hope that it will be a good one! The Tigers were so awful last week, that the only way is up. Parramatta is a scrappy side. I hope the flair and youth shines through and makes a good game of it.
Tigers 1-12
