NRL Round 19
0THURSDAY: Wests Tigers V Sharks – CommBank Stadium 21.50NZT
Well, 74-0 never looks good no matter what sport or what team you are. That will absolutely hurt the Tigers team, which go up against a Sharks side who are near full strength.
This game will be another feeding frenzy, which is great for Cronulla’s points differential.
Cronulla know how to exploit weakness and keep their foot on the throttle. I can’t see Wests getting anywhere near this Sharks outfit.
TIP: Sharks 13+
FRIDAY – Dragons V Raiders – WIN Stadium – 22.00NZT
It doesn’t get any easier for the Dragons with some key players out, and the Raiders only missing two players.
What works in the Dragons favour is that for some reason, the Raiders don’t like to win games 13+. However, the Red V are travelling so bad that surely this Raiders side can put plenty of points on them.
I would just like the Saints have some fun because it looks like hard work out there every week.
Raiders are just too physical and too dominant up front and in the halves.
TIP: Raiders 13+
SATURDAY: Eels V Warriors – CommBank Stadium – 19.30NZT
A bad time for the Eels to come up against the Warriors. They are missing plenty of Origin stars, while the Warriors are full strength looking to fight hard after a bad loss last week.
We’ve seen the Warriors play well away from home this year and they won’t have fear.
A very make-shift backline from Parra can be an issue, and their forward pack is looking a little lean – but they will be thankful Paulo is there.
Plenty of milestone matches for the Wahs too. If they can’t pull this one, it will be a difficult few weeks with top eight teams on the horizon.
TIP: Warriors 1-12
Rabbitohs V Bulldogs – Accor Stadium – 21.30NZT
Was a very tough weekend for the Doggie, but they have an opportunity to get some pride back against an under-strength Souths side.
One good thing though is the signing of Toby Sexton from the Titans, a very good half to partner Burton.
I have this inkling that the Bulldogs are going to put on a very good performance against Souths. Last week would have been incredibly humiliating for the players being booed off at half time.
Souths though, this is just another challenge for them on their run home. Missing their usual spine, a lot of young guys are stepping up to fill in.
Reckon this has the potential to be a scrappy one.
TIP: Rabbitohs 1-12
SUNDAY: Titans V Dolphins – CBus Super Stadium – 18.05NZT
Another tight Titans loss that really sums their season up from last week will roll into this game minus their Origin stars.
The Dolphins were very close to upsetting Brisbane for a second time this season. While missing their main enforcer through HIA protocols, Redcliffe are looking near full strength with a backline that can cause some issues.
Reckon there is some reprieve in this one for the Dolphins who have had a tough month or so.
Redcliffe in a close one.
TIP: Dolphins 1-12
