The Hutt Rec

So that is the end of the stint at the Hutt Rec for the Wellington Phoenix.  It was a good change to be close to the players; so close you could abuse the Adelaide keeper, but it was a little makeshift.

Today’s game was, thankfully as it happened, moved from 7pm to 5pm, due to the fact that those anal retentive Football Australia bureaucrats identified that the lights were not really up to scratch.

Strange really; they had some figures sent through to them that the lights were five times the strength of Wembley.  The thing was that those light readings were taken in the middle of a sunny day.  True story.
