The Mexican media have arrived in town. There are 250 of them, and four separate TV crews. Which equals the number of NZ accredited media people in Mexico City last week.
That’s a piece of symmetry which sums up who deserves to be in Brazil next year.
And here is ESPN Mexico, responsible for the $5 million bonanza for NZ Football setting up shop outside Te Papa today.
The guy on the left as you look at the photo is talking non-stop. In a clearing your throat kind of way.
The guy in the middle is clearly surfing the wrong sites; funded by the Wellington free WiFi system.
And the guy on the right; well he’s clearly in trouble at home.
Wellington, New Zealand, are both in for the kind of international exposure rarely seen before. Forget the score line; the next couple of days are all about lapping it up
