This week’s news story

Chris Cairns was spotted at Auckland International Airport this morning boarding a flight for London.

The lawyer he is travelling with is Aaron Lloyd, his New Zealand lawyer; not that Andrew Fitch-Holland who keeps popping in for chats with the Met Police.

No meetings with the ICC have been scheduled.  Just with the London Met

As part of this deal he has a written statement from the Met saying that no charges will be laid, and that he he will be returning to New Zealand next weekend.  He is also taking lots of paper with him.

In the meantime, it’s time for a cuppa.
